Verne is a partner in the Rapid City law firm of Goodsell Oviatt, LLP, where he focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury, insurance bad faith, and strategic business planning. He received a B.S. and M.S. degree from Northern State College, and his J.D. from the Washburn University.

Sam is an associate with Goodsell + Oviatt Law Firm and graduated from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law in 2022 with a Juris Doctor degree. Having previously interned at the Firm, Sam returned full-time after graduation.
